Virginia C. Stage, PhD, RDN is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Nutrition Education & Behavior Extension Specialist, and researcher with special expertise in early childhood nutrition and health education. She is currently an Associate Professor and Director of The Food-based Early Education (FEEd) Lab (www.thefeedlab.org) at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. Over the past 15+ years, Dr. Stage has been developing, implementing, evaluating, and disseminating curricular and professional development resources, including over a decade in Head Start settings and she has trained 500+ P-12 teachers nationally.
